Test lab for batteries

Lithium ion batteries have a very high energy density. That is why they are particularly suited for storing a lot of energy in a small space. Years of research and development have gone into ensuring that we can now use this technology reliably and safely in different products.

Technology is good, control makes it even better

In the course of our studies we determined that manufacturers’ specifications in their data sheets do not always meet our application criteria. Nor can manufacturer’s instructions always be followed in practice. For these reasons we decided to de-velop a test bay of our own for testing lithium ion cells.

Both individual cells and complete battery packs and large-format lithium ion cells can be tested in this test bay. The test results help us draw valuable conclusions about charging and discharging performance, cycle stability, and the influence of temperatures, particularly as relates to capacity and life span.

If we have capacity free, we also conduct series of tests on behalf of institutions or private individuals.
