There IS such a thing as a  CO2-free ride

CO2 pollution, fine particles, ozone: in industrialized nations, private transport is here to stay. And now we have to live with the consequences. There’s no shortage of people want to improve their personal CO2 balance. But up to now, private transportation that is CO2-free has always been rare and expensive. For the everyday commute, electric vehicles are already an alternative to cars with combustion engines. But these vehicles are really environmentally friendly only if they are charged with electricity from renewable sources.

That’s why we have set ourselves the target of moving forward with the development of CO2-free mobility. Our pilot project in Berlin proves that today we can already stop burning fossil fuels for private transport.

With the world’s largest self-sufficient solar charging station, Yana in Berlin Adlershof , we show that CO2-free mobility is not only possible, but also suitable for everyday use. Yana is equipped with a photovoltaic system to generate power, an energy storage unit, and a smart socket system. Yana mainly charges electric scooters: perfect for short journeys in city traffic.
