We want to be CO2-free at last!
We proclaimed our Energy Autonomous Republic of Younicos on 2 July 2009. With this act of state we not only declared our independence from the grid, but also ushered in the beginning of a new, CO2-free era. Our national policy objective is to help renewable energies achieve a breakthrough – by connecting efficient storage to the grid, thus enabling energy supply from 100 percent renewable energies.
