Senior Sales Manager (m/f), Central Europe, Benelux, Nordics


Primary Responsibilities

We are looking for additional support for our Sales EMEA team. Your main responsibilities are:


  • Driving opportunities to contractual close as manager with support of sales, project and engineering teams including
    • Creation of project structure
    • Definition of scope and project interfaces
    • Provision of indicative and binding bids and offers
  • Structuring of client and partner relationships including contractual agreements with support of legal department
  • Direct reporting of project status to Head of Sales EMEA
  • Continuous documentation of client and opportunity status in CRM (salesforce)
  • Evaluation and prioritizing of opportunities
  • Build, modify and evaluate business cases
  • Qualification and management of possible project partners
  • Qualification of potential customers
  • Opening of business channels including
    • Active outbound to potential customers / market segments (including target customer analysis)
    • Participation on trade shows, fairs and conferences


Your Profile

  • Degree in related field – renewable industry, electrical / industrial engineering or energy services industry
  • 5+ years’ in senior sales positions / key account management
  • Referenceable sales track record
  • Strategic selling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Technical understanding of electricity systems
  • Good overview of the market for energy storage solutions including potential alternatives and competition
  • Ability to lead a negotiation process with terms, pricing, technical aspects and operation and services
  • Ability to explain complex technological issues and their solutions to a broad audience, from non-technical stakeholders to technical experts
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player
  • Fluent in English, German and a third language
